Hi! I need your help.

I am working on my dissertation (I'm finishing my studies) and I'm going to write about deviantArt. Some details I will add later but for now I need to know what deviantArt means.
If you are a deviant who are you?
Does deviant mean pervert? (in general in polish we can translate in this way).
I know there are many, many idioms so what "deviant" exactly means?
I couldn't find any explanation but I hope you can help me and tell... who am I or who are you ;)
